mixmkr,

As usual, you make some very keen and valid points. That bass will go a bery long way in defining the tune. I can't execute what is in my head so I hope to have a bass line recruited soon. Your the second to mention the gits and vox in competition so I'll be aware of that when I've all the elements and can start a mixdown. In regards to the "answering vox", the baritone vocal thing I did, I like it and want to keep it but, didn't know where to put it. Perhaps the pan to the right is too bold?.?
Thanks for your time and insight.

SluiCe,
Yeah, Bass PLease, that is what I'm sayin'. Glad you like the groove and vox. That helps to reaffirm my desire to get this sucker down full. I just ran out of musicianship.
Thanks for the positive vibes and advice.

Theron.

Hey Theron,
Just listened to your song ... quite catchy... I like the vocals but sounds like a few off (flat) notes ...still listening on a crummy set of phones so it's hard to tell... I'll have a better listen tonight. But the song is catchy and has a quirky charisma.

If you like I could have a crack at a bass line for you ? it would be fun.

Theron: A fun track. Nice groove on the drums too.

What I don't fancy that much, however, is the reverb on your el. guitar. i think that it's too much of it, and to prominent in the mix. Try applying less of that.

What I often do is apply as much reverb (and other effects in general) as I think sounds great. Then, when I'm happy, I turn the effect 10 % down :)

My 2 cents anyway

*cheers*

dres,
could very well be off on the vox a bit but, I usualy go sharp:) Thanks for the listen. If ya wanna screw around with it, be my guest.
Thanks for your time dude,
Theron.

Vegar, There are two elec gits, both with some reverb coming from the amp. Is it the normal practice to eleminate the verb even on your amp tone before recording and then add it later? I record vox and acoustic gits dry and add fx later but, with elec git, I try and get the tone I want out of the amp before I hit record. Is this bad? I don't know what the statues quo is.
Interesting point. Thanks for the listen and suggestions.

Axe4yahweh,

Well yours makes the third tele on the tune. I've got a 98 tele plus and a 72 reissue doing rhythm duties on this one.
Hope you're having fun jamming!! Thanks for the listen.

I'll stick a bass on it if you want me to. I can't get to it 'till next week but I hear some things that would be appropriate I think. What I'm hearing would tend to be with the bass drum.
