Okay. So, I can record a song using a Fostex MR-8, then I plug the Fostex into a Soundcraft M12 MIxer, play around with it and then I can put it on the computer? Or does it have to go back to the Fostex before?? Can someone please explain how this all works, and how everything is attached???

Why not transfer your song from the Fostex straight to the PC ?
Im not sure why you would be using the mixer as an inbetween.
But in any case you wouldn't need to go back through the Fostex. You can go from the mixer's outs to the PC.
