I posted a question like this in the mic forum...so forgive me if it seems like a cross-post, but I felt that the question evolved into a more computer related one. So here it goes...
My Aardvark DP2496 is supposed to have 48V preamps that come with it. Unfortunately, it is only supplying ~10.31V on each channel. If it's a defective unit, I'll have to deal with it. But I'd rather solve the problem if it can be solved.
Anyways, I was thinking that my 330W stock Enermax power supply isn't enough to power everything in my computer...specifically my DP2496 unit (card and breakout box w/ phantom power). Here's my rig:
ASUS P4T533C Mobo
P4 2.4 Intel chip
1 meg RAM
40G Seagate 7200
60G Maxtor 7200
Plextor CDRW
Pioneer DVD Rom
Soundblaster
Floppy Drive
GeForce 3 Ti200 AGP Graphics card
2 case fans
1 cpu fan
