I'm shopping for a pair of SDC,s for use as both drum overheads and stereo recording. I keep coming across various brands I know nothing about. It's very useful for me to hear what those more in the know have to say about them, so I hope you all don't mind me asking. Anyone have an opinion about Karma mics, particularly the K10 pair of pencil condensers for $99? http://karmaaudio.com

Looks like the MXL 603 body and capsule, but it's a transformer-balanced circuit. No experience with it. Look up the MXL V67N. I think it's the same mic.
