and just for clarity:
YOU do not hear the room correction software.
it is only used while i mix, and then turned off when i bounce my mix down to two-track.
if i don't use it, then i do a bunch of stuff, back and forth several times, to figure out the translation issues and to fix them, and the end product that you hear, will sound damn near the same.
you'll not notice any difference on what i end up with.
point is, i can get there in a fraction of the time using the correction software, as it corrects the eq issues in my room, that i cannot correct with the treatment i have.
