I posted a thread in the Studio Building Forum........and that's part of the question, does it remove the whole "you need more room treatment" argument, since it's so inexpensive compared to involved room treatment.
Oh...I thought it was $300...?...at least that's how much I've seen it advertised.
it was on sale during xmas, i got it thru amazon for the 149...
and no, i don't think it excuses taking room treatment as far as you can afford to go BEFORE using the arc.
in a well-treated room, ARC will still work, it just does not have to do as much correction.
