well it finally arrived, eventually had to cancel my order and get one of ebay...why does it take the US so long to get them??


anyway...its much smaller than i first thought, the ribbon keyboard and speaker are both next to useless but thats not why i bought it anyway..

the VCF filter is lush...Ive had two synths running through it and my bass guitar this afternoon, the bass sounds pretty amazing


heres just a very quick sequence with a simple saw wave bass line, nothing else..I hope it gives you some idea





the modifications have already begun...I like the montron +...niiice

I know,..I'd like to get myself one of those little badboys...
and run it through a space echo and then my virus c.
There would be some major tweaking goin' on between the self oscillation of the tape echo and the ribbon slider on the monotron.
I don't care if it's like a toy...if it's got what they say about havin' the same filter as the MS-20...Then it's definitely for me.
$60.00...can't beat it.
Take that little bugger on the train with me, when I'm in the city.
Take it on a campin' trip...
Shit,..Take it on a road trip.:D
 
I'm gonna have me one of them this friday...
Maybe even two..in case I drop one and it breaks.
Throw that, and my Roland MS-1 sampler in my backpack...
