Mono/Stereo Problem

Hi there,
I just got a Presonus Firestudio yesterday, and while I love it, I have a problem. When I'm recording/just talking, I can only hear myself in one side of my headphones. When I play it back, I can hear myself in both, but it's kind of weak...Any solutions? Or am I just retarded and you're supposed to record in only one side of your phones. By the way, I've checked the headphones, and they work fine.

Look up 'monitoring' in the manual. There is probably some sort of zero latency monitoring with a pan control in the firestudio that will let you control what you are hearing.

If you are monitoring through your daw (instead of through the firestudio), then you have something in the software set up wrong.
