Mono Inputs - Nice stupid question

Hey all,

All the mixers that ive looked at, all say "Mono Inputs". Is their Stereo mic inputs?

what kind of mixers are you looking at? most mixers have mic inputs and a few mono inputs in the higher channels. Tell us the model and we can help ya out a little better...
 
There are stereo channels, where you can plug 2 mono inputs (i.e L/R) and control the volume/gain/eq with the same knob or fader for both channels. The pan pot controls the relative balance between the two.

Thanks :). This place is amazing, Everyone has an answer to anything i could possibly think of. over the last year i learnt so much from coming here. And am now finally, im building up my own studio, with the help of everything ive been tought.

a stereo signal is 2 channels left and right. so 2 mics 2 channels paned left and right very simple good luck
