just making sure: what do you use to connect monitors to your sound card? Instrument or speaker cable? Basic question but I want to ask it here before I search all over the internet. thanks.
For Active monitors(powered), you can just use a TRS or XLR cable to connect to your source. either the input of the soundcard is 1/4", RCA or even 1/8", you could find these cables anywhere. so yes, instrument cables.
