I guess its time to consider getting some real monitors for my home recording studio. I'm using some Monsoon powered computer speakers which I like but, I think I need to move up the food chain.
Has anyone listened to or heard good things about the Carvin SRS6.5-A 2 (can they put a few more letters and numbers in this name?). I live near a Carvin dealer, but there won't be anything to compare them to cuz all they sell is Carvin. They're on sale till the end of March for $370.
Truths seem to get good reviews, and Samson Resolves... what else in this price range... $400 max. Oh yeah, i need them for acoustic guitar mostly, and some percussion.
