Hi, I have some Tannoy Actives and they seem to be interfering with my PC. They make a high pitched sound when i use it. I use a LCD screen so i shouldnt be that and they arnt particuarly close to the computer itself. I also know it is not my wireless mouse because the noise happens when things for example load. (e.g. a progress bar along the screen). Any ideas? Thanks for any help

ok, so i now know that its a sound coming out of the soundcard because it still happens wen the mixer in the middle of the output and the monitors can be turned off and it still does it but when i pull the cables out of the mixer end, it stops. Any ideas as to how to stop this noise from the soundcard? Thanks

its hard to understand how you worded that....if you unplug the cables from the mixer, it stops? sounds like a grounding problem somewhere. what kind of soundcard are you using? if the problem stops when you unplug the mixer...it could be the mixer.
