Sure a million variables but here goes...
So I get my 11' x 12' room reasonably treated. But my mixing desk situation allows for monitors about 12" from the wall. I was looking at the Yamaha HS8 with the rear port setup. Should I look at front port due to proximity to the wall? Or sealed air suspension? Or...? I will put acoustical foam behind the monitors regardless.
