Hi,
The speakers each have XLR or TRS balanced inputs.
Which you use makes no odds. It's just a different physical connection type.

Any computer with built in audio will almost certainly have a 3.5mm stereo (unbalanced) main audio output.
You can make, or buy, a cable which will split this into a pair of TS (unbalanced) connections which should work with your monitors, but it's not ideal for a few reasons.

The main one is that unbalanced audio cables are susceptible to interference and noise from surrounding electronics.
Transformers, AC, lighting, etc.
If you get set up and you hear a buzz, you might have fun getting rid of it.

I'd very much recommend any interface with balanced outputs, whether XLR or TRS.

What are your recording requirements? Maybe you can plan ahead and buy an interface which will serve you well in the future?
