Monitors and Soundcard

I was wondering if I can hook a pair of monitors up to my regular soundblaster sound card. The monitors I am interested in are the KRK RP5 Rokit Powered Monitors. Also, would I buy two powered speakers or how would I go upon this and what would I need for cabling to monitors from the computer? Thanks

yes, that will work. You will want to use xlr connectors, but 1/4 inch balanced connections are also acceptable. It really depends on the outputs of you soundcard and the inputs of your monitors. XLR first, the 1/4 inch if those arent available.
