Monitors and mixer?

Hi folks

I was thinking about buying some monitors ..

something in the line of these

havent got a mixing console though ...

my (prob. dumbass) question is it nececary to get a mixer or can I connect the monitors to my inca88 in some other way ?

coz so far I allways recorded DI into my inca and havent had the need to buy a mixxer yet ..

You may be able to connect the 720's to either the headphone channels 3 or 4 in the Inca's break-out box .The Inca 88's direct-monitoring function allows the connection of active monitors.
Have you considered upgrading to the Maya1010? Not only is the unit's out channels amplified, it's also equipped with an internal 20 channel dig mixer(10 chan in/10 chan out) with smpl rts from 32 to 96 (analog only)
Might be worth it as the Inca88 has been discontinued.

if you need a cheap mixer for recording microphones consider a yamaha mg mixer that a lot of folks like for a budget mixer.
also search under my name for lots of posts in past year on gear recommendations and recording ideas etc. peace.
