If I understand what you're asking, go under options then check "Monitor recording levels" and then check "Show levels on play and record".

thanks again, one more while i'm here please, i have recordings where one instrument is louder than another in an already recorded stereo track and wish to raise the low bd instrument to the others bd level, is this possible? i have over 10 sec of both audio tracks by themselves, i would think CEP should handle this since it's god like already

what i have is guitar and drums (stereo mix) and the guitar is to low, hoping i can sample the guitar and raise it's bd in the mix, (hoping)

hard limiting seems to do it but i loose drum clarity and wish to avoid that issue, your suggestions please, thanks again.

so its already mixed is what your saying? Sound like the only thing you can do at this point is play with the EQ

ok, i was just wondering since the program can remove audio given you have a sample, noise reduction i believe allows removal, thanks anyway....
