Hey everybody, hope you're having a good night! Ok, so what I would like to do is have 2 sets of monitors and a sub running at the same time for when I master and such. I'm not quite sure how this is done, so far I have just used one set of monitors by going out of the monitor main out from my Q10. Thanks for the suggestions!

Most subs these days have an internal crossover network. This allows you to adjust the frequency point of what the sub delivers vs what your speakers, sometimes referred to as satellites, deliver.

You will connect the sub to your sound card, left and right channels, and the sub crossover will handle the connections to the speakers.

will it be able to connect to two sets of speakers or just one?

The sub will only work with one set of speakers at a time. However, if your soundcard has extra external channels you could hang another pair of speakers there. They would not be tied to the sub however but act as an additional stereo pair.
