I just got the RP150 guitar processor from Digitech and I want to record it with cool edit.
The RP150 has a digital outlet wich can be connected to the usb port of the computer so you got the benefit of digital audio.
Cool edit can record it but i can't hear anything on the computers speaker. Only when i play it back.
Seems to me a monitoring problem.
I assigned the RP150 as input recording device and my soundcard as the output device.
But i can't get it to work properly so i can record in real-time and simultaneously hear myself playing.
Can someone help me out

what soundcard are you using? Im sure this is just a settings problem. unfortunatly, I dont have AA installed on this computer so I cant double check the settings for you. There are plenty of folks here who use this software who can help you out. Ill be in my studio in the morning, so if you dont have your answer by then, Ill check it out for you.

I dont think its going to be a setting in Audition though....it may be in your soundcard options.

I use a creative SB live (5.1) card.
Previously I have recorded with this card, and used the line in for my guitar.
Back then i could hear myself playing while recording.
I think it is a full-duplex card.
But now my signal is coming from the usb port.

There is also something else i can't change. In cool edit, when I choose OPTIONS-WINDOWS RECORDING MIXER, I get a fault message.
They can't find the hardware and I must install this.
But I have installed my RP150 on the computer with the software of Digitech.
