Hey guys im not very good at this but i really need some help.

What im trying to achieve is Monitoring (with effects) with low latency.

Im currently using my hp dv6 laptop, Adobe audition 3.0, Lexicon lambda interface and a SE Z3300a microphone.

Now i understand i can hear myself with super low latency with the interface monitoring...
but how can i reduce the latency in monitoring on adobe audition (so i can hear the effects while i record) to the same or similar level?

Do i need a new audio card?
Or an external mixer?

Could someone please help me out on this asap.
Thanks,
Kruz.

You can try go to your interface control in your computer, and pull down the latency setting.

You should be able to change the buffer size, decreasing it will usually reduce latency but increase the likelihood of an application stall or audio glitch

If you need to know exactly how to change something like that, then google is your friend!
try something along the lines of: adobe audtition latency settings
which gives you the first result of:
Troubleshoot recording, playback, monitoring | Adobe Audition | 2, 3

which looks helpful!
