Just bought a set of Yamaha HS80Ms. Hooked them up to the direct out of my MacBook Pro and then tried to the output of the M-Audio Podcast Factory I have and with either one, the monitor volume is barely audible. I tried increasing the monitor gain, the Podcast output, the laptop volume and the program volume; all with no sucess. I hooked the monitors up directly to the Korg Triton and they work perfectly.
My thought is the the signal output from the Podcast and the laptop is at a really low level, thusrestricing the monitor volume.
Any thoughts, ideas, solutions????????
