we don't need rest!!
I have two 19" NEC monitors in which I sit a good 6 feet away in my home setup. Iniitially I was running them at the lowest resolution with large fonts and all was fine. (800x600).
I just recently switched software to Sonar6pe and found the need to increase the resolution, because some of the non adjustable windows were going off the edge of the monitors....specifically the window for mixing down.
I tried going up to 1024x768, but that wasn't quite enough. The next level of 1152x864 is just fine, but with the extra large fonts, etc... I can barely read the small print from where I am sitting.
Question(s)
1. I looked at some 22" wide screen, but the actual images on the screen seemed the same size as the 19"...just more "picture"...and streached horizontally at that. Is that correct?
2. Keeping my budget at around $700, what can I do to be able to read the screens from about 6+ feet away?.... looking for two monitors also.
3. I am almost thinking getting one of those "mongo" 30 inchers...but they get up there in price.
so??
