Monitor Question

Hello,

I would like to know if active or passive monitors would be better for the newbie recording enthuasist.

I know active are powered and passive are not, but what advantages and/or disadvantages do each have.

I would suggest powered monitors.

Check out the Alesis M1 Active MKII's (not the Monitor 1' or 2's).

They are about $390.00 USD.

How much do you want to spend on monitors?

Mackie HR 824's and/or the HR 624's

Events are great too.
 
Gracias para su ayuda mi amigo, su ayuda se aprecia mucho.

I will be spending $300-500 on monitors. I have narrowed it down to an Event setup.
