Anyone have any experience with either of these two microphone cables? Any preferences?

You should avoid asking the same question in multiple threads...it tends to annoy folks, 'cuz people then post answers in both, and then the mods end up merging them or deleting one.
Anyway...I've never bothered with anything "Monster", and there's been some negative rep in their marketing practices...but that aside, Mogami is top-notch cable.
I've got it all over my studio for both mic cables, but mainly for wiring all my gear with.
I think also some "performance" or "stage" rated cables tend to come with a heavier jacket, because it's assumed people will be stepping on them and live use tends to be rougher on equipment in general, with all the set-up and tear-down.
The Mogami is rated as a "studio" cable...so I'm confident its top quality.
All that said...you may not really hear much difference between them.
