Anyone remember this great magazine, going back to the mid-late 70's?

My older brother used to subscribe, (bought an A-3440 new in '79) I was a teenager back then (48 now). Very glad I saved all my backissues, lots of great info on Teac recorders, and Tascam stuff in the 80's issues.., back in the day when readers wrote postal letters to the editor with their questions, no computers, no internet, no email...

No, but I saved most of my Dad's Elektor magazines. Most of the designs require obsolete parts now, but the Format synthesizer stuff was invaluable to me. I remember reading one of the earlier ones where it was talking about some fantastic noise reduction technology that could make a cassette sound on par with a reel-to-reel machine. I wondered idly what happened to it since, and then found out that it was DBX type I...
