Oh yeah, I forgot I pulled C6 from mine. I think that is done to taste, would be a big deal.

Glad you got yours going though. Would love to hear how it sounds!

If you remove C6, also remove C7 which is in parallel with C6. C7 would give you increased gain at the frequency set up by C7 and the cathode resistor. It would probably act like a presence boost.
