Can you mix music in cubase without having to buy a different kind of software.Because i'm learning to mix before i buy any more equipment.I've been in artist but me and my homeboy are try to learn the mixing and mastering part because it's getting expensive paying people to do it.So can any one suggest any books on mixing and mastering in your homestudio.

Of course. Read the Cubase manual!

Forget about mastering for the time beeing and learn first the basics.

mastering is the end of the process.. it's absurd to try to start there... newbies aren't supposed to have a clue...
