Mixing your songs.

Just got a pair of decent monitors into my studio today (Fostex PM-1). Wow those mixes I so far did on the K271 headset really sucks.
If you want a good mix you will need decent monitors guys.

That is so true. A decent set of near fields would work wonders. Another thing you can do is make sure the speakers are set up in an equilateral triangle at the listening station. Alos mount your speakers on speaker stands and place them on top of some Auralex MoPads. They cost like $30 and you will hear even a bette sound.
