Mixing...very confused due to Monitors.

Recently joined this group seem to be blessed with this community.

I have personally been liking the YAMAHA MSP 5 as I worked on this...however have in mind abt the M-AUDIO BX5. Is the M-Audio BX5 much better then MSP-5.

which would be a smarter choice the Yamaha MSP-5 or M-Audio BX-5.

I know BX-8 are better ones but i dont have that much cash either.

Which one must I go for MSP or Maudio-BX5 ?

I'm confused, I thought the Yammies are $250 each,
BX5's are $279 PAIR?

so with that..the YAmmies better sound MUCHO better.

Wharfedales 8.2A are hyped as BEST BUY to date.
Concerned on mail ordering, as a few posts are saying the Wharfs arrive, OutOfBox with tweeter issues crackling.
Savings can be lost shipping for repairs.
Wharfs are supposedly the "best buy" at $275 ($~30 shipping)
per threads.

I went and got a SPL meter and was reading my room with
my current monitors and will do the same to some BX5's
soon. maybe its my room and not the monitors? or maybe
I can enhance my monitors by adding/subtracting traps.

this monitor sht, maybe similar to my waste of time changing out microphones over and over.. all sounded the same, pretty much...
only to find out it was the PRE_AMP all along! doh!!
