Br 532

Hi Texas,

It's been a while since I sold my 532, but a while back I used it quite a bit to record my songs to two tracks, and maybe some accompaniment to two additional tracks - and then did some panning before downloading to PC software for burning. My recordings went through a dynamic, LDC or (cheap) ribbon mic - and included voice, acoustic guitar and sometimes harmonica/tin whistle.. My recollection is that there really isn't a whole lot you can do besides adding some basic effects, and pan the tracks. Once you've 'armed' your tracks for recording - If your room is pretty decent and your levels are good, you can get some decent results.

What kinds of stuff are you recording? Are you using mic's? - or going direct? What kind of mic(s) are you using?

I found the BR 532 to be a great tool for practicing things like mic placement/arrangements for songs, but I didn't really like the effects, and made a point to use things like its reverb/chorus very sparingly - to nothing at all.

Take care,
Jim
