Mixing, the spectrum meter..etc

Hi guys. On my mixes of my band I think they're fairly strong. Just a few
things are still annoying me. First of all, my mixes sound good to my ears
on many systems. Many people agree. However, the spectrum meter is very
even, compared to most pro mixes where the meter is low-end based. Would
this mean anything? Please note, it sounds fine. Its confusing me though.
Does it have to do with harmonics/artifical EQ or something

well, have you listened to your mix with subwoofers on (or speakers with some REAL low end)? And do your mixes still sound good?

then you're fine! haha.

A lot of time, more "pro" mixes have a lot of low for a kick drum, as well as a lot of somewhere up high to make it clicky. so maybe if you have your analyzer set to "average" - it just seems like it's a lot higher..but in the long run it may not be.

also, they're mixes are probably compressed a TON more (and probably better!) than yours, and turned up a lot more.
