Mixing stereo recording levels

This is probably extremely simple, but I am very new to the world of Cubase 5 and I just cannot work out how to do this. I've have searched through the user manual and youtube etc but no such luck.

Say I have recorded a guitar track in stereo with a mic and DI, how do I then mix the levels of the individual recorded parts from the mixer view? I can see the main track with the left and right levels bouncing around, but there is only one slider to adjust the main level of both of the recorded parts. Is it something to do with the panning?

I'm sure this is super simple! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's what a stereo track is- two channels of music, one file, under one dual channel fader.
