Mixing skills

I have posted before and been pretty happy with my earlier stuff until they got a complete ripping from folk, so then i wasnt so happy with them. Now i am happy with this track, but wont be suprised if i get a proper ripping!
I know i have improved, but by how much i aint certain. So please post comments on this MIX. Any comments on song are welcome also.

I like. Good playing, good song. No ripping from me.

The only thing I would like is more snare. The drummer is pretty good and I think a song like this needs to have more snare pop to go with the bass line. and bring the guitar down just a hair. That's just me and what I hear on the bullshit stereo in my garage.

I liked the mix till the dirt guitars came in. They're real sterile sounding. I'd bet a POD or Amplitube or something like that.

Drums and bass sound cool. Mix is real clean. Vox could be brought out more, though since the singer has a real strong voice.

Cheers alot for the feedback. A bit offended by the comment about using POD. I dont go near those things. I use tube amplification. Marshall DSL100 and 1960 cab.
I wanted the snare to really cut through the mix and i think it does. It aint the loudest but it does cut through. Maybe could bring the vox up a bit, but i think it still works where it is. I like that dirtyness of the guitars if you know what i mean.
Quite pleased that you said the mix was real clean axeman69. I think it could do with a bit of warmth in the mid or low end though if you know what i mean. Not too sure how to get this though with the platinum waves bundle and wavelab ME.
