i have a tascam 424mkII portastudio and a dell computer with a good sound
card. i also downloaded goldwave digital audio editor from www.goldwave.com. i recorded 4 tracks with my band onto tape using the
tascam. my question is: what do i do next? should i mixdown the 4 tracks
to 2 before i transfer them to the computer, or should i just transfer all 4
tracks to the software? my final goal is to burn the mastered tracks to a
cd(i have a cd burner on my computer also). any tips you can give me would
be great. i'm pretty new at this, so be a simple as possible. also, if you
know of any good cheap or free software digital audio editors please feel
free to recommend one.
