When I played the mix I recently did. Everything sounds fine. But my only concern/ question is:

The bass appears to sound little louder when the VOLUME is turned up (when listening).

When i listen my mix at a low or normal volume, the bass doesn't stand out that much. Is that pretty normal ?

To hear the bass more, when the CD volume is turned higher, and the bass volume feels lower, when the CD Volume is turned down.

Thanks !!!

Yes, this is normal. It has to do with Flettcher-Musslein (sp?) curves. The louder something is, the more bass you hear. That's why its good to mix at different levels.

Thank You, Seafroggys. Appreciate your expertise and experience.

It seems to me this phenomenon's prominence depends on your monitor's price range too.
