Alright, new pole question here.

Just how gay is Southside Glen's 10-million threaded mixing pole?
 
I did some of the polls - pretty cool Glen. Just havin fun at your expense, and the good news is it doesn't cost too much! :D

There sure are a lot of mixers & masters from Chicago in this forum - what's in the water up there?
 
That's OK kylen, I just closed all the poll threads (I don't have authority to delete them, closing them is the closest I could get.) I have apparently done something to piss chessrock off, he's been dogging me for a while now, even before this poll came about. But if he wants to escalate it so far as to do something this extreme, I'll not play back to it; I'll just let him have his way and move on. Thanks anyway. :)

As far as Chicago, hey; we're right there with Memphis, St. Louis and New Orleans when it comes to a history of music. :)

OH NO - NO ! We were just kiddin chessrock - right ? I know it's hard to tell in black & while sometimes. Go ahead and open those threads back up Glen, you're stimulating some thought around here. And there's always the gay pride factor chessrock mentioned - although I'd know more about that than you guys I guess.

Chicago is cool ! The wife and I did a tour of Chess studios and the Market - Kenneth St. is that it? And Al Capones. Last fall we toured Sun Studios in Memphis and Beale St. - We lived In Kansas City for a while but only drove thru St. Louis so I don't know much about that Mississippi River town. We likes musical towns ! :D

I think maybe you might be referring to "Maxwell Street"? Used to love going down there for a Maxwell Street Polish (extra grilled onions, please :) ) and checking out the amateur blues bands playing on the street. Unfortunately that whole scene is pretty much gone now. :( But I still love the city. The only thing we're missing is mountians...a whole lot of flat around here ;)

I thought the polls were good; I had no idea that *most* of the people here are here for the same reason as myself (to record their own band). thats a pretty amazing revelation in itself. who cares if he is using the board, damn. its not like nobody else does. much better than a poll about "which interface" where you people all think a 1010 is the best coverter on earth, or a mic shootout where sp beats akg. I think they are all pointless so whatever.
 
So the real question is, what happened to poll question #10? :confused:

the sexual orientation in relation to the idea of a survey never crossed my mind, to be honest :)
 
Chessrock has voted 'not at all gay' and SSG has voted 'extremely gay'.
