Mixing Orchestra (Thoughts?)

This is my first attempt at producing and mixing a track for an oratorio I am writing. There is a solo (sung) at the beginning, and then choir throughout. So this track is just the accompaniment without vocals.

How does this sound? Using EWQL vsts including Hollywood strings gold, Symphonic Orchestra on the timpani, EWQL Symphonic Choirs. Woodwinds Gold.

So it's all EWQL software, and spaces reverb on each track.

How does it sound? Didn't use any compression or additional eq. Did it need it? Please let me know if anything can improve (I'm sure there are things I missed..).

I've worked really hard to purchase all of the right equipment for this project (mics, software, etc..). Trying to prepare..

Thank you,

Tim

About the strings, you should try more slow strings to soften your sound. Strings play the melody or climax, you should mix them wih more violins (played by real player is a good idea, the tips are all around Youtube).
Nice song anyway! ;)
