Anybody have any tips or websites on this? I know this is a "home recording" forum but I can't find any place like this about the Live side of the audio world. Thanks
I was just looking for somewhere to stick my nose in to learn up on the Live sound/production kinda stuff. Ya kno....concert sound, rigging, computerized concert lighting, acoustical measurements for live venues, computer-aided design and all of that good stuff.
OOPS!! I forgot what I'm most intrested in! Dumb me...the light/production stuff would just me icing on the cake.
I'm intrested on the whole RTA tuning / system designing stuff. Best way to prevent feedback. Best way to wire everything. How to really run monitors right. Some stuff on doing shows from 20 people to 30,000. I would like to know all da stuff to run that big ole' Midas you'll see at that ozfest or the 12ch mackie at the coffee shop.
Yea, but I'm not sure if most bands can handle switching to JUST in-ears. I think it still would be good to have some wedges around maybe. What do you think?
