mixing down to my pc

I record on to a (please don't hurt me) 1/2" reel to reel 8 track record. Right now I'm mixing down to 1/4" tape, and occasionally a mini disk player that a friend owns. What I'm looking for is a set up to mix my stuff down to my computer so that I can make a CD of the mix (when I get a CD burner of course). Now, what sound card I'm I going to need? I'm not wanting to get supper pricy, but I definately am not doing it w/ my stalk packard bell soundcard. My comp is a 266mHz Packard bell. It's not a pentium processor, but it's something like that or something. I need to be able to get the sound from the stereo outs on my mixer down to the computer (still in stereo). Any suggestions?

Any soundcard with stereo analog input would do then...
even a sb live i guess... you can make it as expensive as you like
