This is why I hate mixing small stage live recordings, it's just a muddy mess no matter what you do...oh well, I tried.

Sounds good even on my crappy laptop speakers. I like it!
 
Think I found the source of my mud frustration in a room mic that I didn't have set to the correct group. Let's see how this one sounds.
 
Threw together a quick mix, is soundcloud an easy place to setup for free? I have no where to post files.


That has to be the worst kick drum sound ever recorded lol.
On the plus side, Neil Young would be proud, this is fucking rock and roll :)
I needed a lot of eq to get the vocals to cut the way I wanted and still have room mics in the mix.
 
Yes soundcloud has a free version that is basically full featured and very easy to set up.

well, fighting with the vocal track I left it too loud, I could bump the guitars up a bit too, maybe I'll get arund to mixing down another. There are worse things than the vox being too loud.
