Im looking for a mixer with at least 8 mono-ins and at least 8 mono-outs, so I could record separatly on 8 tracks. Which mixers do you sugguest? Is there any option between 350 and 500 bucks?

Thanks

what is the 8 sources? line signals (1/4''), or microphone? if its a mic u will need an XLR input for every mic, which makes quite a huge difference in choice/price..

If you can, look for a used Mackie 1642VLZ or 1604VLZ. The 1642 has 10 mic pre's and 8 direct channel outputs (and inserts on all channels with mic pre's). The 1604 has 16 mic pre's, 8 direct outs and inserts on all channels. The inserts can be utilized as direct outs. Used, they can be found in the $500 range.

Behringer. Cheap and effecient. I'm gonna catch hell for saying that, but for the most part it's true!!:D

I think I will go for the behringer altought some guys say, that it sucks.

thanks everyone!

some guys also say that Chevy Cavaliers suck as they drive off in their Lexus, but let's face it, it's cheap, it works, and it gets me where I gotta go!
