I have an SbLive, when i turn on the mixer, i hear some hiss in the speakers.

The mixer is damaged? i don't think that that hiss is normal.
Is a Selectron MX-4530

How much hiss? Can you hear the hiss if you plug headphones into the mixer?

It's probably just a noisy mixer, but give us an idea of how much noise is noisy :) If you can give us a db value that would be great.

Yeah, if i connect headphones to the mixeri can hear some hiss.
And when i turn up or turn down the volume of the channels of the mixer, i hear a little crackle in the speakers

Go to

and download the file
it was recorded using the mixer, at the end of this sample, i turned up and down the volume.. you can hear the crackle.

Hmm, I'm just at work with little headphones right now, but I didn't hear any abnormal hiss in your sample. I also didn't hear any crackling when you faded it out....although right after the music had faded I could hear little noises like "pffft pffft pffft", were you still playing with the knob at that point?

A dirty knob or fader can be fixed using something like TV tuner cleaner...just turn the mixer off, spray a small amount of cleaner down into the pot (usually with the knob itself off), and twist it around real good for a few minutes. Let dry and voila.
