i think some of my sound is leaking from some of my channels and going around the mixer and giving me some minor feedback
is this possible?
i mean my mixer is a pretty decently good mixer
its a tascam m2516
do i need to open up and clean?
help

It is possible to have signal on one circuit bleed a little into another. The feedback', what do you mean exactly? Actually ringing? -not part of a mic-speaker loop?

yeah thats what i mean it bleeds into other circuits but whenever i record especially acustic guitar i get some minor feedback in the background(yes ringing)
is there a way to clean it out or something?

Clean it out? You are serious? It's not like sound is sloshing around' in there right.
Again- not part of a mic-speaker loop? Not 'hiss or something. I have no idea at this point.
Be specific.

This is called "crosstalk" not "feedback." Cleaning will do nothing to affect this.

Do you have the monitors on in the same room that you are recording the acoustic? If so, turn 'em off, and use headphones.

yeah same room and i do turn the off

here is the thing

4 mics
2go into 2 channel preamp 2 go into the preamps of the mixer
the 2 channel preamp has the outs into the mixer too

i get those 4 channels and put send them to buses 1-4 then that goes into input of the digi

the outs of those 4 go into channels 1 and 2 of my mixer which are only being sent to the main out of the mixer( for monitoring) but im defenetly not sending them so the buses by any chance
