Hi,
I need help solving a problem while recording.
i have a mixer connected to my audio card, so i am using ACID to record guitars tracks thru a microphone (that is connected to the mixer).

I have the output of the mixer connected to the input of my audio card and the output of my audiocard connected to the CD/TAPE input of the my mixer (Behringer Xenyx 1002)
When i am going to record an acoustic guitar using ACID i play the metronome as loop guidance, so on my mixer there are 3 options for the CD/TAPE input: 1. CD/TAPE to Mix, when i press this function i can listen the metronome and the input from the microphone at the same time thru my headphones, but when i record everything is getting recorded (metronome + mic input)
2. CD/TAPE to Ctrl, in this function i can only listen to the metronome and not the sound that comes into the mic, but it does record the mic input, now is the problem, i can recod mic input but i cannot listen to what i am playing thru my headphones.

hope is clear, and someone can give me an onthis, if you want leave me an email and i can send you a picture of the setup

tnx

The simplest solution would be to take one of the headphone cups off of your ear. That way you can hear the metronome and your guitar at the same time.

Hi, thanks for the advice, but i am trying to do it the direct way, beacuse in the case that i want to record vocals, i´d like to listen to the guitar (per example) already recorded and also listening to the voice thru the headphones, to know how is going.
Thanks
