Mixer and Soundcards

So - I figured I would buy a mixer - run my podxt through it for the clean PA sound and effects. And at the same time, I could run the mixer into my PC for recording, and playback. A guy's got to start somewhere eh?

I picked up a Behringer BU2442 with a set of their truth active speakers. I want to run the mixer to my PC and send all sound back from the PC to the Mixer (so I can get rid of these tinny, tiny PC speakers!). I have an SB Audigy 2 Platinum Ex sound card - and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get from the sound card to the mixer board. Mostly cause I cant figure out what most of the stuff is on the board!

Oh, and I'm running CuBase on my PC. If I change the default sound card in my PC to the POD XT, I can playback everything via the mixer, but that's not the ideal situation. I would rather route via the SB Audigy 2.

I think I jumped in over my head - now I'll see how long I can tread water!

Any advice would be nice!

You might get better results posting this question in the newbies section. When I was first starting recording with digital I had questions that make yours sound like child's play, I mean I was really confused and almost computer illiterate so I kept posting my problems and the answers poured in, I'd still be lost if it had not been for some great advice and guidance from people who have had and solved the same problems. I'm using different gear so i cant help you much on this particular issue but if you keep asking, no matter how dumb the question may seem, someone with the answer will help you sort it all out. Any way, welcome to the BBS forums and good luck with getting your system doing all you want it to, and maybe even more than you thought it could.
