Mixer and cables

I have an Audiophile 192 soundcard and a Behringer UB502 Mixer, to get sound to come through my headphones which are pluged into my mixer can I use 2 trs-trs cables and run them out of my L and R Main outs on my soundcard and into the Line In 2/3 on my mixer or would they need to be trs to s/pdif cables and hook up to the Tape In L & R on my mixer?

I would use 2 t/s to rca cables from the output of the soundcard to the tape in of the mixer. they don't need to be trs because you're using 2 cables which are either right or left and not both.

ok but the outputs on the soundcard have 1/4 inch pin holes

Yup, you just need 1/4 ts to rca cables.

spdif is a digital audio protocol, the type of connector is rca.
