HI Gang.....I just finished mixing a couple of tracks, and I need some reviews....just so you know they were all mixed on a korg d12.....on the website the songs are all 128kbs, instead of 192 and mp3 format.......does anyone know if I'm limited on the songs output as a result from using the D12?.....or is this the best I can expect from this machine....

thanks for the look......

Welcome...I checked out "I've changed." I'd have liked that acoustic at the beginning to be mic'd instead of DI'd, but there's nothing wrong with the tone...and LOL, it didn't last long before the FULL THROTTLE was applied. I like the stereo'd vox...maybe a little shorter delay would help them still sound "thick" without being quite so noticeably split.

These are personal preferences. The vocalist is a monster, and the lead's just bordering on shredding. You should understand, this is not my genre, so take my comments for what they're worth.

The acoustic sounds a lot better in "I Gotta' Be Free." There's some weirdish "phasey" stuff going on, but it sounds like MP3 noise/artifacts...mostly on the crashes.

Nice toon

thanks

Does anyone know if I'm limited on my mixing results with respect to the Korg D12?.....Those who have listened to the songs, should I expect a better sound if I played around with it more....or is this the best I can expect?
again,
thanks

Hey,

I listened to "Ive changed".. The recording sounds good to me, the vox a little too up front (in my ears)... but other than that.. I dont see anything wrong... lead guitar is sick.
