Just bought the EMU 1820 PC soundcard with Cubase VST 5.1 bundled. There's a PDF manual for the EMU, but I can't find one for Cubase. So I've been trying to solve this problem and I'm sure it's something obvious.
I've managed to burn a single audio track (acoustic guitar) to CD, but everything else - even just one stereo track - won't play on Windows Media Player (it just freezes) or burn onto CD (using Nero, I'll end up with a CD with a track of 2minutes 50 seconds of silence).
I've followed all the rules I can think of when exporting audio (16 bit, 44.1 khz, stereo interleaved) and sent the .wav files to the desktop. For the successful guitar track, the file name ends with "_Audio1_1". For all the others, the file name ends with something like "Track 2 MO_1". Also, if the song contains 3 tracks then I end up with 3 separate .wav files!
I'm sure this is all in the manual........
Can anyone sort this out for me?
Thanks
