hey everyone. i am having a problem mixing down my songs with cool edit pro 2.0. whenever i mix them down and then i play them, there is always a loud click at the beginning of the song. how do i get rid of this?
I've seen this on one machine where I work - it seems to be related to the soundcard coming to life or changing sampling frequency or the like. I'm not sure how to prevent it - maybe try turning off system sounds when working with audio, as they can hijack the sampling frequency of the card I believe.
