My Cool Edit has been running great for over a year and just today when i started it up and recorded it caused problems. When I "Save Mixdown As" sometimes it wont let it save as MP3 but now that works. When i save my Mixdowns as MP3's and try to insert them back into the multi-track i get a pop up that says "The sample format of your file being inserted is different than that of the multitrack session. Pressing OK will first make a copy of the file, then allow you to adjust the conversion settings." But by doing that it makes my vocals sound horrible. And that pop up box just started coming up. Why is that and how do i get it back 2 normal? HELP!!!
